The Homemade Bird Seed Feeder was made last summer and I adore it. I stopped off at the Salvation Army Thrift Shop and took a look around on my usual Saturday morning jaunt. I love to collect vintage glass, crystal and general awesomeness. I found the bowl and thought maybe I would use it for a centrepiece on my table. As I walked around looking for a pretty vintage plate, I found a plate that was almost a perfect match to the bowl. I knew right away I was going to make a bird seed feeder.
It is so simple to put together. All you need is a dab of glue to seal the plate to the bowl. I placed mine on my patio to get a better view of the birds. You could place it on your outdoor table or on top of a post in your yard. Simply add more sealer or glue to the post and hold the plate down until it seals.
Enjoy and welcome the little birdies around.
