1 tablespoon yeast
¼ cup warm water
1 cup room temperature milk
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups flour
Mix the yeast with ¼ cup of warm water.
Add ½ teaspoon of sugar.
Let stand for 3-5 minutes.
Mix 1 cup of warm milk with ½ cup oil.
Add ½ cup sugar.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
Add 1 cup of flour to the mixture.
Add 2 eggs and mix together.
Add 3 cups to the yeast mixture.
Mix everything in a large bowl.
Cover with a tea towel and place in a warm area.
When dough has doubled in size, knead it and divide into 4 balls.
Roll a ball of dough into a circle and cut into 6 triangles.
Roll into desired shape.
Cover with tea towel again and allow to rise for 1-2 hours.
Bake at 345 until lightly brown.
Brush with melted butter when done.
